Development of a creative position in senior preschool children in a game containing a contradiction
(RESUME)

The paper presents findings of an experimental study of development of a creative position in preschool children with the help of a special technique - a game with contradictions "A fairy tale house" in which the teacher presents to the child a contradiction caused by the presence in a fairy tale of an "alien" hero, and suggests solving the contradiction with the help of techniques aimed at stimulating creative thinking. The author describes some of the game tasks, analyzes the main directions of development of behavior, thinking, imagination and speech in children engaged in solving contradictory situations. The author also looks at stages in the development of a child's creative position, arguing that the main factors in the development of a creative position are the child's personal involvement in the events being analyzed and their mastering of intellectual methods of solving a contradiction.
