Psychological sense of rationalistic criticism of psychoanalysis
(RESUME)

The author discusses customary for modern science opinion that psycho-analysis as a scientific method is beneath all criticism. The correlation of researcher's personality type and scientific method employed-is considered. Four models of cognition characteristic of intellectual, intuitive, sensory and emotional personality types of scientists are marked out. The author concludes that rationalistic criticism of psycho-analysis is due to the offensive of scientists belonging to intellectual type fighting for restriction of subjects and methods of scientific studies to those accessible for them.
