A study of prospective identity of university graduates in a life choice situation is presented. Prospective identity is treated as one of possible images of "the future Self", containing an image of Self in a social environment and an attitude to Self. The situation of a life choice is analyzed from the angle of a subjective component - experiencing as reflection of a person's mental state in this situation. Four factors have been singled out in the structure of prospective identity: the worker, the graduate, the student, the perpetual student. It has been discovered that characteristics of the structure of prospective identity are more closely linked to emotional components of a mental state that to the activation level.
