Initiation therapy as an instance of phenomenological approach to man
(RESUME)

The author argues that initiation therapy is conducted as practical work with a person which enables meaning "to grow out of experiencing", out of the direct and immediate present, out of the "wholeness of links of our mental life" (W. Dilthey) while at the same time retaining its roots in it. The basic principle of initiation therapy is the client's confidence in the process, his following what is provided by life itself.
