Phenomena of subjectness in modern art
(RESUME)

The paper looks at the contrast between harmonizing, cathartic effects of classical and neo-classical art and disharmonious cataclysmic effects of post-modernist art, focusing on the problem of evolutionary meaning in the culture of post-modernist special effects - that of "an open cataclysm". The paper describes the method of personological analysis used in studying personal effects of symbolic art and specificity of the artist being reflected by the viewer, and presents findings of an experimental study of effects of cinematographic art in the aspect of dynamics of subjectness of the viewer and in the aspect of the reflected subjectness of the artist. The study has demonstrated determination of probability effects of the influence of symbolic post-modernist cinematography by the intellectual and creative capacity of the viewer, including "the experiencing type" of the Rorschach test.
