The paper discusses the issue of criteria for the progress of the psychological science. The author perceives them in a) evolution of problems being studied by the psychological science; b) development of the existing interpretative traditions; c) variations in correlation of the two; d) evolution of psychology's methodological self-determination. With the help of those criteria the author demonstrates existence of progress in the psychological science which brings it closer to the truth with each stage of its development.
