Practical psychology of education in Russia: No paradoxes
(RESUME)

Continuing the discussion of problems of the psychological service (Voprosy psichologii. 2002. N 1, 6; 2004. N 4) the author analyzes the state of modern practical psychology of education, expressing the opinion that the rift between theoretical and applied psychology reflects a general tendency in relations between theory and practice. The author also demonstrates how these relations are realized in goals, purposes, directions and content of the work of a practical educational psychologist.
