The paper explains the link between Victor Frankl's theoretical views and his life, the existential experience of the concentration camp. The author analyzes Frankl's scientific, ethical and philosophical contributions to psychology and psychological therapy: problems of life's meaning and responsibility, placing therapy in the spiritual perspective, the matter of truthfulness of psychological conceptions of man.
