A study carried out in the context of the social conception theory is described. The structure of conceptions of health and ill health was analyzed with the help of P. Verges's technique. The key elements of the conception of health are sport, beauty, strength, cheerfulness, joy, life. The key elements of the conception of ill health are pain, weakness, fever, bed, cough, sneezing.
