The paper describes findings of a study carried out by the author in the Volgo-Vyatsk region of Russia. The study was aimed at revealing the degree of adjustment of rural youth to social changes and their attitude to the future. The author gives recommendations to regional authorities aimed at stabilization of adjustment processes in rural youth.
