Motivation, rationality and readiness to take risks in the personality profile of a realtor

On the basis of data obtained from three groups of real estate specialists and one control group the author analyses connections between readiness to take risks as active testing of different ways of achieving the goal (including the least effective ones) and motivation and characteristics of conscious regulation. The experienced professional realtors have displayed such characteristics as acceptance of poorly defined conditions and success motivation. The less experienced realtors are oriented towards the process of self-regulation with the aim of achieving success. The greatest flexibility and rationality have been displayed by new arrivals - younger people of a new generation, new to the business.
