The article contains findings of a study of personality characteristics of cadets of the Law institute of the Ministry of the Interior, facilitating or obstructing their adjustment to study and future professional activity. A positive correlation has been discovered between adjustment and open aggressiveness, a negative one - between adjustment and hostility as an inner personality set.
