The author's approach to the psychophysical problem is based on the denial of the natural science paradigm. From that perspective the author analyzes works of the classics of Soviet psychology dwelling specifically on the discussion of "inner factors" which took place between partisans of A.N. Leontiev's and S.L. Rubinstein's schools. The author also suggests a methodological basis for synthesizing of psychology and physiology.
