The projective Fairy Tale Test and its potential for studying a child's personality
(RESUME)

The article contains a theoretical substantiation of the projective Fairy Tale Test, data on its reliability and validity. This is a psychoanalytical test, which measures 26 variables, such as aggression, oral needs, fear of aggression, depression, self-esteem, dominance, possessiveness, etc. The test also enables the investigator to study a child's emotional problems, their needs and motives, as well as protective mechanisms. The test has been adapted to local conditions, and developed for children aged 7-8, 9-10 and 11-12 years.
