The article looks at the organization of the psychological service in the educational system of Germany focusing on description of its structural units (which include councillors, school psychologists, officers of government councelling centers) and discussion of how they are coordinated with the country's educational system. The authors also touch upon problems of effectiveness and quality of work in the service as well as legal foundations for the functioning of the service.
