N 1, 6) on problems of the school psychological service, the author analyzes modern practical psychology of education, identifying contradictions, the most essential of which, in the author's opinion, is the contradiction between theoretical and applied psychology. The author invites discussion on prospects, directions and goals of practical psychology of education.
