An introduction to the existential analytical theory of emotions: A view of values
(RESUME)

The article introduces a conception of values, an essential part of modern existential analysis, which is discussed from both theoretical and practical points of view. The category "value", conditions for the perception of values, the individual's attitude to his own existence lying at the root of any perception of values, are described in detail. Theoretical arguments are then generalized into an existential analytical theory of values, application of which is illustrated by examples from therapy.
