The author analyzes 30 years of scientific activity of the laboratory for psychology of personality at the Psychological institute of the Russian Academy of Pedagogical Sciences, namely research into social psychology of groups and collectives, psychology of a developing personality, the conceptions of personalization, of the theory and history of psychology - everything that constitutes the foundation of A.V.Petrovsky's scientific school.
