Psychological factors of restoration of employment
(RESUME)

The author looks at social preconditions for renewal of employment in Russia which he classifies into three groups: motivational, reflexive and social-networking. A longitudinal empirical study conducted by the author has established that the intention to receive an unemployment benefit, dedication to one's profession, a negative attributive style, relying on resources of social organizations are linked to successful/unsuccessful restoration of employment. Two variables have the most prognostic value with regard to employment: absence of plans relating to unemployment benefits and membership in clubs, social organizations and parties.
