Practical psychology of education at the Psychological Institute
(RESUME)

The author discusses the role of the Psychological Institute of the Russian Academy of Education in the establishment and development of practical psychology of education throughout its 90-year-long history, arguing that it was research into the most fundamental psychological issues that prepared the ground for determining theoretical and practical foundations of practical psychology of education. The author also offers an original conception of a psychological counseling service in education.
