Lessons in psychological development for junior adolescents
(RESUME)

The paper discusses theoretical foundations for a developmental curriculum for pupils of V-VI classes of secondary school. Its main goal is formation of cognitive verbal and logical structures responsible for abstract thinking. Data obtained from the testing of the developmental curriculum suggest that cognitive structures in junior adolescents are successfully developed due to formation of abstract thinking and achievement of a higher level of intellectual development.
