Clinical psychology and neuropsychology: A part or a whole?
(RESUME)

After a brief history of clinical psychology and neuropsychology in Russia and abroad the author goes on to discuss the present-day state of national clinical psychology and its relation to neuropsychology. The paper discusses the subject and structure of clinical (medical) psychology and the part neuropsychology has to play within that structure, emphasizing the "polyvalency" of modern neuropsychology, the wide range of its theoretical and practical objectives, the need to single it out as a separate discipline.
