A clinical psychological analysis and psychotherapy of a case of early vomiting phobia
(RESUME)

Ignoring the psychological reality of a psychogenic illness by a therapist, caused by an incorrect methodological approach, leads to inadequate therapy. Understanding the primacy of the psychological component in etiology and pathogenesis of psychogenic illnesses makes one view medical procedures and medical rehabilitation as auxiliary, secondary in importance. The latter is of special significance in therapy of child's fears and phobias as a child often lives in psychosemantic spaces of play, following regularities of its development.
