Development of L. S. Vygotsky's ideas in A. N. Leontiev's early works
(RESUME)

The article discusses aspects of the development of the cultural historical theory of L.S. Vygotsky in the early (late 1920s - early 1930s) works of A.N. Leontiev, focusing on the fundamental "Development of memory" in which the ideas of L.S. Vygosky's scientific credo of the second half of the 1920s are substantiated by a considerable amount of experimental data. The author's analysis of that and A.N. Leontiev's other works of the same period suggests that the ideas of the new - "activity" - conception devised by A.N. Leontiev in the 1930s emerged within L.S. Vygotsky's cultural historical approach as its creative development.
