Cultural historical psychology and "challenges" of post-modernism
(RESUME)

Analyzing the current state of cultural historical science, the article discusses the issue of constructing psychology on the basis of the post-modernist, post-non-classical paradigm. It is suggested that cultural psychological issues should not be confused with cultural historical psychology which is a separate branch of science based on appropriate foundations. In the author's opinion, cultural analytical psychology based on "network" organization of knowledge, can serve as a communicative paradigm for isolated fragments of cultural historical knowledge. To solve a "system crisis" in psychology, the author suggests recognizing multi-dimensionality of the mind and the investigator's right to adopt different research logics and methodological approaches if they are properly correlated and complementary.
