The article describes diagnostic techniques (the tests "Figure", "Epithets", Lusñher's test) used to study dynamics of women's psychological condition during pregnancy and after birth. The data obtained confirm correlation between a formed readiness for maternity, value of the child and the type of experiencing pregnancy. The above techniques have been verified. They can be used to diagnose readiness for maternity and value of the child, dynamics of these parameters during pregnancy as well as predict readiness for maternity and dynamics of the value of the child after birth. The authors also suggest a block of techniques for use in psychological counselling of women at different stages of pregnancy and maternity.
