The article discusses the influence of factors of specific (scales of rationality and readiness to take a risk) and non-specific (according to A. Edward's questionnaire) motivation (identified with the help of a computerized choice procedure in Wason's task with varying degrees of uncertainty) on different stages of strategies' implementation. The subjects were students. 51 of those made choices in three "orientation to rule" tasks, 30 made decisions in verbal tasks with preference for self or for a friend.
