In favor of clinical psychological analysis of gender identification disorders
(RESUME)

On the basis of theoretical analysis the authors argue the necessity of systematical studying of self-identity disorders within the context of self-identity as an integral whole. The latter entails recognizing the fact that common social psychological laws determine normal and abnormal development along with evolution and involution of the cognitive organization of personality. The article contains a theoretical paradigm for clinical experimental investigation of gender self-identity.
