Regulatory aspects of extraversy and neurotism: A new approach
(RESUME)

Regulatory aspects of extraversy and neurotism are examined from the point of view of individual-typical means of purpose-achievement. Typical profiles of self-regulation depending on extraversy and neurotism levels were experimentally studied on the sample of 850 students. The influence of deliberate self-regulation on the structure of these profiles was established and principal possibility of their components' correction demonstrated. Harmonic style of self-regulation may be limited due to marked extraversy and neurotism. The data obtained are used as a basis of psychologic-pedagogic characteristics of individual-typical stylistic peculiarities of introverts' self-regulation.
