Preschoolers' confidence toward unfamiliar adults
(RESUME)

Preschoolers' confidence toward unfamiliar adults was examined experimentally by means of special projective method employing the drawings of situations. The results of the study show that child's attitude and the level of confidence toward unfamiliar adults have age-specific changes. Six-year-olds are more concerned with own personality as compared to other age groups. The transition from five to six years of age determines confidence toward unfamiliar adults. The most important part in the forming of confidence toward unfamiliar adults is played by gender and number of adults.
