Psychological prerequisites for Elconin - Davydov developmental education are surveyed. L. S. Vygotsky, A. N. Leontyev, D. B. Elkonin, P.Ya. Galperin psychological concepts are looked at through the statement of inner relation between education and de-velopment. The stages of teaching activity studies in D. B. Elkonin, V. V. Davydov, V. V. Repkin works are being reconstructed.
