The author describes introduction features of Elco-nin - Davydov's system of developmental education in schools of the former GDR, estimates the teaching status in modern Germany, points to the great impact of theory of developmental education on western teaching psychology. The author emphasizes the need to set up the Moscow International Institute with its main task to develop the activity theory in general and training activity in particular.
