Time category in children's subjective experience
(RESUME)

Brief logical-psychological analysis of time category has shown ratio of natural and psychological time of personality. Variety of subjective experience concerning time category is viewed from basis of three universal characteristics, i. e. metanotions: sequence, duration, synchronism. Analysis of child's subjective experience in preschool and school periods has revealed that metanotions concerning time appear long before school. These notions content is rich but not structured, global but not systematized. The most distinct notion in subjective experience of 6-7-year-old children is time sequence. The notions of duration and synchronism are formed only under the influence of education and in older age.
