Author's hypothesis is that structure of parental attitude contains two bases supplementing each other (referring to personality and to object); they differ with the age of a child. This hypothesis has been taken as a basis for method of study of parental attitude. The results of the investigation have shown that parental attitude differs in time: dominance of personality base is changed by dominance of object one; parental attitude determines style of upbringing as well as of parents' assessment of their child.
