Paper deals with translation into Russian and Ukraine and adaptation of The Big Five Locator scale meant to express diagnostic of big five personality factors. The content of mentioned factors is described. Standardization sample of the Russian and the Ukraine languages scale variants consisted of 181 and 124 subjects, respectively. Data on retest reliability, reliability of parallel forms and inner concordance have been obtained. Correlation of the scale results with data obtained with the help of methods of Eysenck (EP1, form "A") and of Cattell (16 PF, form "A") have been revealed. Normative indices for tested sample have been calculated. Recommendations for practical use of the scale are offered.
