115 medical students aged 18-22 were studied according to Eysenck's personality questionnaire and Spielberger's Situative Anxiety Scale. There are marked differences in subjective characteristics of sleep in their connection to personality traits. Some psychological factors leading to sleep disturbances are discussed.
