A brief historical sketch of developments in psychology in XIX century and pre-Soviet Latvia is followed by a detailed list of fundamental and applied research which has been beeing performed in the Republic during the last 15 years. The paper is basically a report on what is being done by whom and where. An accent is made on practical implementation and practical work of Latvian psychologists.
